Suki...

Curly Girl's birthday gift to me! I love it!!! You can click on the photo to enlarge it

Now it is back to school so we sadly say good bye to Miss Margie for the school year!

I wish she had more time to take Margie's art class but her academic classes take priority.

"Bella"

Here is Curly Girl's first project of the summer. She choose this picture to enter into a contest...which we later found out she did not qualify for! At any rate, we think Bella is gorgeous......

Here is the full picture....

She looks super fat but the horse in the calender WAS super fat (and the photographer took the photo from a weird angle.) That being said, Curly Girl was upset when we said the horse looked 'like a tick' and promptly got the calender to defend herself! HA!

Meet Buddy....

This is Curly Girl's latest art class creation. She named him "Buddy" after the movie with the dogs that play basketball. We think he is gorgeous!

Splash!

This is another picture Curly Girl did at her summer art class. She was very particular about wanting to draw a picture of a dolphin splashing into the water. She was THRILLED when she found something to use in class.
She has a 'thing' for dolphins so this one is really special to her!

Little Flower

Here is a new project for Curly Girl. We've been so busy with company that I didn't realize I hadn't been posting her art work! I love this little fawn..........she named her "Little Flower."

Isn't she lovely!

Bambi....where are you?

Here kitty, kitty....

This is Curly Girl's latest creation from her Summer art class.
I love the two little kitties......she did a good job. Doesn't hurt that the background has LSU colors! :-)

Little Ellie

This is Curly Girl's first project for her Summer art class.
The teacher handed her a stuffed elephant so she could determine where she was 'artistically'..........she came up with a 'zoo' scene.
I especially like the little elephant trunk sneaking from behind to nab some peanuts out of the bowl. Oh and the people at the very top...kind of hard to see in the photo!
